Henry had been scolded for nipping my black lab, Barney. I would say 'No ouches on Barney. That hurts...he'll cry.' One evening Henry was sitting in the living room with me, and my husband (called T-Bird) was in the kitchen while Barney was eating close by...and he accidentally stepped on one of his feet, and he yelped. Well, Henry began to laugh and say, 'T-Bird ouch Barney...ho, ho, ho,...that hurt...he gonna cry'...laughed between each phrase...T-Bird came into the living room to see if he had heard right..and Henry was still laughing and repeated the phrase. I honestly think he thought it was funny!
