We have a 30' sailboat and have been seriously considering a feathered companion. I(deanna) have wanted an African Grey ever since my 15 year old cockatiel died 8 years ago. We are concerned about spending weekends away from the house. We would love to share our life on the sailboat in the Cheasapeake Bay with an African Grey but I don't want to stress the bird. Are they adaptable to car travel and boat travel or do they get startled easily, like the cockatiel? Help... Deanna & Tim
