My grey is essentially, my husband's bird. He does not care for her as much as I do, but none the less, she has taken to him. When my husband is in the room alone, Roo will talk a blue streak to a point that is very irritating to my husband. For whatever the reason, she will remain quiet if I enter the room. On a few occasions I have called my husband from work, and told him I will be home in 5 minutes. It is as if Roo knew without being told that it was myself on the phone. She immediately silenced herself, and remained silent. I talk with her all the time and adore her. I think she views me as competition!I do agree about telepathy and animals. My mom taught me to talk with animals as a small child, and I am teaching my young son the same. Others think I am nuts, but admire my abilities to communicate in a friendly way....it is a gift.
