I am having major surgery on February 4. I have known about this for about a month now. About 3 weeks ago, Sterling asked me so sincerely "Is everthing okay?" He has never asked this before in the eight months I have had him in my life (I adopted him when he was 5 years old). Then he said "everything will be okay." It was so nice to hear this from my baby. In addition, in the last couple of weeks, he has been obsessed with the number "4". He repeats this over and over. It finally occured to me a few days ago that is when I am having the surgery - on the 4th. I have never told him this. He must have picked this up from my thoughts since I am probably thinking way too much about this date. Amazing bird!
